how it started

Salt & Tide opened in the fall of 2021, the vision of Chef Isabella Ruiz. A Miami native who spent a decade cooking in the kitchens of New Orleans and Charleston, Isabella came to Naples with a simple goal: celebrate the Gulf Coast on a plate, without pretension and without shortcuts.

She found the perfect space on Fifth Avenue South and got to work building relationships with day-boat fishermen from Everglades City and Goodland, and farms in Immokalee and Buckingham. Everything at Salt & Tide is made in-house — the pasta, the cocktail syrups, the bread. If we can make it ourselves, we do.

The space itself reflects the way we cook: warm but not fussy. A candlelit dining room for slower evenings. A lively bar that hums with energy on weekends. A back patio that catches the evening breeze off the Gulf. It's the kind of place where you come for the food and stay because it feels right.

Miami native with a decade in NOLA and Charleston kitchens. Opened Salt & Tide in 2021 to celebrate Gulf Coast ingredients without pretension. Her cooking is bold, seasonal, and rooted in the flavors of the Gulf.

Bar Director

Ten years of craft cocktails across NYC and Miami bars. Daniel builds every menu around Florida citrus and tropical fruit, with house-made syrups and bitters that give each drink its own personality.

Carmen Reyes

General Manager

Fifteen years in Naples hospitality. Carmen runs Salt & Tide with warmth and precision, making sure every guest feels like a regular from the moment they walk through the door.
